Upset with site
U create a memorial for a loved one.Once created Findagrave gives the memorial to one of their top contributor trolls. Consequently, u forfeit any rights to the memorial Some people collect stamps.
Findagrave trolls collect dead bodies. Just way too.much drama.

Upset with the site
U make a memorial for a loved one. Then Findagrave turns it over to one of their top contributor trolls..
Consequently u forfeit all rights to the memorial u created. Some people collect stamps.
Findagrave trolls collect dead bodies. Just way too much drama.

Many do not want to be part of Find A Grave data base for many different reasons. Trying to get a family removed is almost an impossibility.
I really could care less about Find A Grave's cyber graveyard and what they r doing is a public service.
It fails to be a public service unless people want it. Families do have rights and should be able to opt out.

Back in March I did some suggested edits on two memorials, and waited the 30 days to contact Find-A-Grave, and have sent two e-mails, and they still have NOT responded!!! These people need to get their *** together!!!

When I go to a find a grave memorial and try to add a memorial it tells me the cemetery is not listed. This is very strange as I have added 100s of memorials to this same web site in the past.

Their Policies
I live in Florida, my mother was buried at Washington Crossing cemetery in Pa.
My mother passed away January 27.
I went on find a grave and requested a photo of the grave, because I am far away. I was impressed that within an hour I got a photo I was very impressed with the site until my vicious spiteful sister, who is estranged from me, took over the site, took my words, took my photos deleted them Basically just stole everything that I did. Find a grave after I complained wouldnt do anything about it and said it was their policy that another family member can take over the site. I am angry and disgusted with find a grave I would never use them again my sister is an opportunist. She is neglectful to my parents, she steals from my parents and shes caused a rift in the family. We dont talk and being I was the creator of this site. I was the one that requested the photo find a grave does not have the right to do this to me or to anybody.
She did this on purpose, because I got the photo of the grave and showed it to my father, because she did not take him to see the grave and she was mad at me and shes doing it out of spite. I understand you cant get in the middle of a family quarrel, but I dont think that it is right when someone creates a site that someone else can just take it over like that. now Im gonna go through *** trying to get find a grave to take my words down. Im sure I can find somebody else to help me out. I dont need find a grave to help me out like I said, I wont be using them again.
The worst part of this is we are grieving. My father is 97 years old and is grieving and this is a terrible thing that they did.

I called the number that I found on the internet for find a grade it just so happened it was ancestry so I told the girl what I was looking for and she gave me a email address which I have not responded to yet I'm sorry that you take it as a pissed consumer but I'm not pissed but I would like to find my mother's grave site and would like some assistance from someone thank you my name is Kim and I've sent you my number or I can send you my number 501-744-**** I would appreciate any help you guys can give me

I wouldn't even know about this site if not for the stalking and harassment I have received from it since my mother passed away.
FAG has ZERO safety protocols on their site. Their rules about removing profiles require deceased people to be alive (only parents, siblings, and children...all of whom are dead).
You can't show proof of next of kin to manage your own family's profiles. You can't even block people.
The site is wonky, and their rules are literally impossible. It is a gross violation of my safety and security that they will allow some random person to manage a profile for my family. I'm all that is left of my family.
I'm the only one who matters in this case. I'm the one being stalked and harassed by members of FAG.

Preferred solution: transfer of my grandfather's profile from some random person to me.

How come your support unit has not acknowledged any of the 6 or 7 support emails I have sent in regards to refunding sponsorship that was on my Memorial I made 23 Feb 2023 and someone made a duplicate one on 26 Feb 2023 and they deleted my Memorial and moved my sponsorship onto their duplicate Memorial? I am not sponsoring someone else Memorial. I sponsored the one I originally made for a fellow military Veteran and firefighter.
Sponsorships are non-refundable.

Lenda Tuck, Has been absolutely the worse person I have ever come across on and off Find a grave.
I can tell you that Lenda has some serious issues`s with find a grave and has taken her anger out on the wrong people, me Kari Norstog and Ted Delozier, not on the company its self.
Lenda has written 4 posts on me and find a grave.
None of the posts are correct or have any proof of her accusations. They are just hateful acts of her insistence of being vindictive because they suspended her for writing terrible things on her posts and mine.. Lenda Tuck is blaming everybody but herself for getting suspended from find a grave.
Lenda is Devious sociopathic liar, and a master manipulator of words and writings on Find a grave and on posts on this site.
I never did or said anything to make find a grave take her memorials down. I have never in my life hurt my families reputation, by adding false graves or information about them on Find a grave.
I never did anything to deserve all the terrible things Lenda Tuck has written about me.
I do have proof of what Lenda Tuck has done to me, my families and Ted Delozier. If you can read past the terrible naming calling you will see the emails Ted and I were writing while Lenda Tuck was going about Writing and adding false information on our memorials. Lenda Tuck Is a Bully and Bullied Ted Delozier and Myself Kari Norstog on and of find a grave. What I have written on my post here is the truth and is what started the whole thing between us.
If Lenda Tuck Hadn`t Lied and Plagiarized about my grandfather none of this would have ever happened to either of us.
The lesson I learned here is not to ask find a grave for help with a bully. They will only delete your contribution of memorials and your contributor page.

Can't access my account
I can't access account and nobody there gives a damn. What does it take less than a miracle of God to speak to someone in customer service.
Site is good until you can't access your account then you are on your own.
I guess they have no one in customer service or no one who knows how to actually speak to someone to solve a problem. Signed pissed off customer
Major computer error
I created over 300 memorials from my distant relatives back in 2011 and now I find most are being maintained by someone Ive never heard of overseas who now maintains 129,000 graves, how in the world did find A Grave decide to assigned maintenance of graves and memorials that I created to someone that I have never given authorization to, obviously a major computer problem on Find a Grav

User's recommendation: Keep an eye on Find A Grave you can create memorial, but anybody can claim that they maintain your memorial wear for your on able to make corrections to your own memorials

Resolved issue with use of website
Find A Grave customer service does not have/use a telephone interface with customers. Sent them an email re the issue and they provided feedback/advice within 24 hours. I fixed the problem with their input..

if u wanted a photo of the grave u should have contacted the sexton of the cemetery. They would have provided u a picture of the tombst without all the drama of Findagrave.
Try one of the other memorial sites on the internet.
